
To edit your account click on the (EDIT) link next to your username. This allows you to change your display name, Biography (optional), location and picture. Don't forget to click SAVE (where (EDIT) was), when your done.
By entering a post code on your account page you will be able to see how far gigs are away from you. This will be displayed at the top of each event box when you search for gigs.
To change your email address and/or password. Whilst in edit mode click on the 'Advanced info' tab and then change the relevant information. Don't forget to click SAVE (where (EDIT) was), when your done.
On the home-page, Click 'Forgotten Password' and follow instructions.
'Fan this band' is a new feature that allows you to 'fan' a band by clicking on the 'Fan this band' link found at the top of a bands profile page. When you have fan'd a band you will receive their latest news and upcoming gigs on your account page.
To un-fan a band, simply go to your account page, select your 'Fan'd bands' Tab and click 'un'fan' on the appropriate band. You can always fan them again later.
If you want to hear more of a band, you can. Visit their L2L profile, there you'll find a full length track, a video and links to their website (only supplied by individual bands).
You can find specific bands by using the 'looking for a band' function on the home page under the 'Find Gigs' button. If you cant find a band try only entering part of their band name when searching.
For venue information simply click on the venue name whilst viewing an event.

If your venue isn't listed yet, whilst adding a gig, select 'change venue' then click 'add new venue'. here you can enter the venue information. You can probably find all of the venue information at www.maps.google.co.uk
If your location isn't listed yet simply following the same instructions as adding a new venue.
Whilst adding your gig information there's a text box called 'tktit url' here you can paste the url that tktit.com supplied to you for that particular event. You can find this at www.tktit.com on your account page. If you would like to sell tickets to your events online visit www.tktit.com.
When you've filled in all your gig details you have the option to download a ready made flyer. Simply click 'download flyer' and it will open a (4 xA6 on A4) PDF document which you can print or save. I recommend printing the Black and White flyer on florescent paper.
The Mp3 sample you upload must be 600k or less, this is equal to about 30 seconds of high quality Mp3's. I, myself, use Garageband to edit the track to 30 seconds and then encode the track in iTunes using their mp3 convertor but you can use whatever method suits you best.
When signed into your account select the 'media tab', then click the 'Change' button, here you'll be prompted to browse your local disk and select the track you wish to use as your bands sample.
When signed into your account select the 'media tab' copy and past your Youtube videos embed code from Youtube into the Youtube/Video text box.
When signed into your account select the 'media tab' copy and past your full track url from website into the 'Full mp3 track' text box. You can find the url for mp3 by right clicking on your track on your website and copy link.
